We are a society of rural families who are working to develop community-based rural tourism in Costa Rica
We invite you to immerse yourself in our culture and take part in our traditions.
To be part of a Costa Rican’s family- getting to know their values, getting to know their daily way of living in a community that is based on self-improvement, hard work, and cooperation – that is discovering community-based rural tourism.
We also offer you the opportunity to get your hands on some of our prestigious, gourmet coffee (Gourmet Tarrazu), which is produced alongside our natural beauty, tours, and above all, our eagerness to welcome you into our homes.
Who we are:
Mission:
To implement and support every type of project and program that will benefit the families involved, specifically those connected the community-based rural tourism initiative.
Vision:
To be a national leader among rural organizations that is built upon social awareness. To participate in sustainable development, providing excellent products and services that benefit the well-being of individuals and contribute to the improved quality of living of those involved- both domestic residents and foreign visitors.
Objectives:
- To help improve the social-economic status of those involved, their families, and the communities in general through the implementation of socially productive projects
- To encourage capacity building and education of those involved, thus strengthening their level of knowledge and skills in order to become more empowered and efficient in their activities.
- To collaboration with other organizations and associations who share the same mutual values of service and management
- To establish relationships with national and international bodies to help support social and economic development; and obtain financial resources, services, as well as equipment and tools needed to enable us to fulfill our goals
- "To offer technical assistance and marketing, through mutual agreements, to those intending to develop profitable endeavors.
